Last week I managed to get out for Lakers again.
The bite was still very slow. Tim and I spent about 2
hours freezin' our butts off with little activity. However,
Tim did manage to pull up this beauty 5 pounder on a
set line in 15 feet of water.

My buddy Mark invited me to his shack for some
evening crappie on the Rideau Lakes. It was very cool
to see his techniques. Talk about finesse fishing! I
managed to catch a few crappie, the largest being
about 11 inches. Mark sure knows how to slam those
big slabs. I watched him pull out a few in the 12 to14
inch range. Here's one I captured with the camera.
